The Majlis held a Welcome Luncheon in honour of our new Members of the Majlis who have been bestowed the Dato’ Seri and Dato’ titles, by T.Y.T. Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang.
Also invited to attend the luncheon were existing members who had been bestowed higher awards, namely the D.G.P.N., and D.M.P.N.
The Welcome Luncheon was held on Saturday, 19th October 2024, at the Gurney Bay Hotel (formerly Evergreen Laurel Hotel).
About 50 Members attended the event.
The new members received their Membership cards and car badges, which were presented by our President, in the presence of the Management Council Members. Our Members who received the higher awards were also felicitated.
In his speech, the President outlined the role, contributions and activities of the Majlis & hoped that the new Members will continue to contribute to Society.
