The 38th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Majlis was successfully held on Saturday, 21st June 2025, 11.00 am, at the Gurney Bay Hotel, Persiaran Gurney, Penang.
This year saw a total of 86 members attending the AGM.
This year was the biennial election year for Management Council Members for the term 2025-2027.
At the AGM, the following were elected to serve for the term 2025-2027:

Deputy President – Dato’ Seri Ar. Jong East Full
Immediate Past President – Dato’ Seri (Dr.) Hj. Abdul Rafique Bin Abdul Karim
Vice President I – Dato’ Seri R.Arunasalam a/l V.Ramasamy
Vice President II – Dato’ Seri Dr. Bhupinder Singh
Vice President III – Dato’ Finn Choong Khuat Seng

After the AGM, there was a short briefing by Affin Bank, after which Members of the Majlis were treated to a sumptuous buffet lunch.
The Majlis records its sincere appreciation to the Management Council Members for the term 2023-2025 for their dedication & hardwork in the smooth management of the Majlis. The Majlis also wishes its very best to Dato’ Seri Kenny Ong Kean Lee on his retirement as Immediate Past President and to Dato’ Jaafar Ismail who had decided not to seek re-election for the term 2025-2027.
