On 22 October 2025, the Majlis Dato’-Dato’ Negeri Pulau Pinang (MDDNPP) gathered for its Fellowship Night, an evening of fellowship and recognition featuring dinner, the presentation of certificates to new members, acknowledgements for upgraded members, and a cheque presentation to charities.
Guest of Honour YB Jagdeep Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister II of Penang, attended representing the Chief Minister, commending the state’s honorific title holders for their service and dedication to community.
In the spirit of service, the evening included donations (RM10,000 each) to three Penang organisations: Pusat Harapan Harian Bakti, Persatuan Syukur Penyayang Pulau Pinang, and Persatuan Pembela Wanita Pulau Pinang. Their missions span meaningful work and life skills for persons with intellectual disabilities, shelter and care for homeless elderly, and protection and assistance for women in crisis. The Majlis also recognised members who received higher state honours this year.
MDDNPP President Dato’ Seri Choot Ewe Seng and Organising Chairman Dato’ Finn Choong Khuat Seng thanked members, partners, and supporters for making the evening a memorable celebration of camaraderie, leadership, and community service.
