Malam Penaung 2022 in honour of TYT Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang, Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi bin Haji Abdul Razak, was held after 3 years break because of the Movement Control Order imposed by the government earlier. It was held at the Pelangi Ballroom, Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Resort, Batu Feringgi, Penang on the 26th August 2022.
The function was attended by more than 200 members, guests, friends and the media. Amongst the invited guests were the Chief Minister of Penang Y.A.B. Tuan Chow Kon Yeow and High Court Judge, YA Tuan Mohd Radzi Bin Abdul Hamid.
The highlight of the evening was the 35th Anniversary celebration cake cutting ceremony by all the Majlis Pengurusan including the past presidents, led by Patron, TYT Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi bin Haji Abdul Razak of the Majlis Dato’ Dato’ Negeri Pulau Pinang.
In conjunction thereof, a cheque presentation for the donation of RM50,000.00 to the Yayasan Amal TYT Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang by our President to Patron was witnessed by all members of the Majlis Pengurusan including past presidents, with the presence of members of the media.
Other highlights also included the presentation of the Anugerah Perkhidmatan Emas 2022 to Mr. Tan Leong Theng of The Spastic Children’s Association of Penang and Anugerah Belia Cemerlang 2022 to Mr. Muhammad U’Zair Bin Abdul Malik of Penang Free School.
