8 patients of the Penang Hospital were presented with prostheses from Tabung Derma Kebajikan Majlis Dato’ Dato’ Negeri Pulau Pinang. The patients were Md Ibrahim Bin Lazim, Ku Rofiah Bt Ku Dali, Abu Bakar Backer B. Kalandarmastan, Soon Eng Khoon, Lam Khai Yee, Gunasegaran A/L K. Krishnan, Balakrishnan A/L Muniandy and Ganasion A/L Neelamagam.
They were specially selected by the Majlis and the Hospital, with the project under the chairmanship of Dato’ Haji Abdul Rafique Bin Abdul Karim and his committee Dato’ Dr Bhupinder Singh, Dato’ Dr Kenny Ong Kean Lee and Dato’ Tan Chong Meng.
It was officiated by YB Dato’ Haji Farizan bin Darus, State Secretary, YBhg Tuan Hj Ederis b Mat Din, Timbalan Pengarah Hospital Pulau Pinang (Pengurusan), YBhg Encik Abdul Rahman bin Che Ahmad, Timbalan Pengarah Kesihatan Negeri and YBhg Encik Mohammed Hazam, Pennolong Pengarah Kebajikan Negeri Pulau Pinang together with members of the Majlis.
